Romney, McCain woo Michigan

That was the headline on the front page of the Detroit News, one of two major news papers in Michigan. Now I do not normally talk about politics or religion as I know it can invoke some strong feelings but I just could not pass this up.

Is it just me or does that headline conjure up any images. For some reason I see the gentleman wandering around Michigan, lurking around corners, sneaking up on you at corners, trapping you at your local watering hole and just yelling out WOO!!!! I know it is silly but I just can not help it and it is bringing a smile to my face. I almost am chuckling a little.

The darn extended political season is pickling my brain. HELP ME.

G'day from Australia,

Is that `woo' as in tu-whit-to-woo or as in `woo-hoo'?!!!

I hear you on that. Religion and politics are two areas that I tread very lightly on. I don't enough about either one and I really don't care enough either. Sad but true!

We have 10 more months of this crap to deal with!

"Woo" brings to my mind old-fashioned suitors bearing roses and chocolate. Bring 'em on, candidates, especially the latter. You'll get my vote.

The images seem appropriate to me. Never before have I felt so burned out so early in a presidential election year. I’m ready to vote and get the damned thing over.

Thank you Lime, I loved them all. She is good. I knew we were in trouble this year for campaigning. I can not wait for the elections and the certain to be protests are over in November.

David I do believe I meant the latter but when I looked up what you said... perhaps it is the owl screech after all. Either way I just do not like it.

Jillie I know a little about politics but you almost never will hear me talk about it. Any more it turns my stomach. I so can not wait for the crap to be OVER!

San you are so easy. Come to think of it, bring me some chocolate and I might just change my mind too.

I hear you Nick. I was already sick of the politics with all the campaigning and the talking about the elections for so darn long. Add to that the fact that Michigan has been playing politics big time all last year and forgetting its voters... I may just move to Canada to get away from it all.
