How Soon is Spring |
Looks like a record setting season this year. Were I live we already have almost 47 inches of snow. Last year which was a very snowy year, we only had 25 inches of snow about now. In another 1 to 7 inches we will hit our season average. This should happen before the week is over and here we are only half way through January. The Meteoroligist I talked to said we could hit 100 inches this season which would easily set an all time record snowiest season. Our current record is either 80 or 90 inches.
I just have to ask ... so when will spring be here? I mean I planted all those bulbs and all. I want to see the results of my labor. That's it, I want to see what I did. It has nothing to do with the cold temps and snow almost every single day.
So spring is in another 68 days. I can not wait.

Spring had better hurry up! My housebound cat (it's too cold outside for the furball) is driving me up a wall.
Nick, Alex is lucky. Up here we have at least 9 inches of snow on the ground. If he were to set foot outside in Michigan I think all you would see of him is his tail.
Luckily it starts to get nice sooner where you are. Here is hoping we have a warm snap before then for the little fur ball.
My bulbs are mighty confused so they are trying to cme up now. I have to cover them for frost.
I have a brown thumb though, and probably the gophs will get most of em,. but its worth a try. To heck with neat orderly rows like you made though because the gophers carry them around underground and leave them hither and yon, where they then sprout and bloom.
Weirdos!
You can type as much or as little as you want on my comments, you are always welcome to express yourself fully over htere.
Now, LOL, yes I find myself wondering what the hell I would do to hid my horrible thighs and still be able to compete in the water sports. I wouldhave to wear sarongs and knee length stuff so noone could see them... I know you think Im way to small to have horrible thighs, but you must remember that at 18 I went from 110 to 190 pounds in about 19 months. That killed my body. My thighs suffered muchly and even though I have never weighed that much even preggers I was just 153, I have never been able to lose that freakish thigh skin as Signgurl calls it. What the hell some scars you wear on the outside, and some in.
Miss you Barman.
I cant wait to share India with you.
:)
BTW I was referring to competing on Survivor and being forced to run around in a bathing suit, but in India it is perfectly acceptable and even the norm to swim in your clothing so you know it just might work out fine!
:P
Sorry about typos, no glasses...
Susie, I have a brown thumb too. That is why I picked things that were real hearty. As to the Gopher, I have a groundhog I never see and I do not think it messes with me. I have squirrels and I will probably be OK with them. I have had moles before, not sure is they will be a problem. Either way, if it mixes things up than it will just be a surprise.
Can't you make one of those 1920's or 30's suits. You know where it going from the neck to the ankle. You will be all set then.
I make typos or spelling errors all the time and ... I have my glasses on. That was never one of my better subjects.
zowie!!! that's a lot of snow. if it makes you feel any better the winter we moved back from trinidad we had 17 blizzards. what a rude re-entry, eh?
Oh dear Lime, not to fun what so ever. I did not realize that your fine state normally gets much more snow than we do. I may have to rethink coming to see the groundhog on groundhog day. Maybe some day. For now however I think I am allergic to snow.
I have a 100 ft driveway. So far it has cost me lots of Money!!
G it sounded so sweet the deal you worked out. Now not so much. Still 100 feet. Yikes, mine is 64 feet and bad enough. Luckily these last two storms seem to have sort of missed us.
