This weeks theme is COLORFUL.

I did not have anything I thought would fit this week. But then I looked at some more or less reject pictures I have and found something that could do.

I take pictures at a dance recital every year. I have never been able to take good pictures at things since A) the light was very low and B) they really move. The pictures were either blurry (almost all the time) or just boring. Here is one of those blurry pictures for this weeks entry.

Thank you very much for visiting. Have a wonderful weekend.

I was shooting at ASA 1600 most likely. Without an extremely fast lens it just is not enough. I will do better Wednesday.

No real plans. I would like to see a parade somewhere but it was raining this morning. I agree about the gas. I have enough driving to do Wednesday and next weekend.

You have a good one too G.

even though they are blurry it still cocnveys the motion, and of course the colors are lovely.

I think that picture is WAY too much fun.

Very colourful, indeed.

Gas here is anywhere from 3.79 to about 3.85 but cheaper in the 'burbs.

It's a good thing I like taking the El so much.

Have a good day, Barman.

Have fun!

I love this photo just the way it is. It's very colorful indeed and I love they way you can see how the arms' moved through the photo....very cool.

I knew I should have gotten gas yesterday morning when it was only $3.15 a gal....now it's $3.25. (I remember when it was $.75 a gal and my Dad was complaining that it was nearly $1.00 a gal!!!!

Hope you have a great weekend. Bob and I are headed downtown (DC) today to see the Rolling Thunder ride in from the Pentagon. There are going to be 1,000's of motorcycles!!

You know Lime I agree. If it were nothing but blurred they would be useless. Because of the way it turned out it does look kind of cool. I suppose I should say, "I meant to do that" but that would be a lie.

That was taken with my old digital camera that was not the fastest thing in the world. In the last two years I have gotten a much better digital camera and a professional lens, and a monopod that should make a huge difference.

Strumpet, I have to come over and ask you something. You are living here in Chi town. Usually most people in the states say color rather than colour like Canada says and probably others. Just curious where that came from. As to the gas, We jumped to 3.59 or was that 3.69. We are now back to 3.48. Luckily you can use mass transit so the price of gas does not affect you to much.

Jan, I guess there are advantages being by the coast. How much better the gas prices are. When I started driving the price of gas was below 50 cents a gallon. I fought and fought and swore I would never pay over 50 cents a gallon. That was back in 78/79ish time frame. Boy would anything under 2.00 be nice right now.

The Rolling Thunder sounds awesome. I hope you are getting some pictures as it would be fun to see one or two of them.

Barman,

It's for no other reason than that I think I'm cool, or something.

I just think it's fun to spell words out in fun ways.

It looks so much prettier to me as 'colour' comparatively to 'color.'

It's Strump-o-matic like that.

The simple things in life for me, Barman. That's what does it. Spelling oddly... it's the way I strump, I guess.

Thanks for asking!

Have a great day!!

Strumpet, I so understand. I pay attention to things like that because when I am on someones place and they say things using a different spelling like that or temperature in celcius I try to reciprocate. I know, strange but it is the simple things in life.

Sign, I have a plan. I am a terrible dancer. I feel so self conscious when ever I do dance I am sure I am even worse. Here is my plan. If things do not get better by noon I am going to do a rain dance. I am sure that, since I am so bad at dancing, it will have the opposite affect and the rain will be CHASED away in record time.

You can send the rain my way at around ten o'clock.

Right when we close.

So, people get up and go home and I can lock-up the patio and walk home.

I'll do an equally bad rain dance when I'm ready to go, around eleven, so that I don't have to walk in it.

I'll scare it off to Indiana.

Strumpet, seeing as how we probably get your weather, looks like no rain last night for you. Oh well, at least you should have had a very good patio night.

Denny it did have some promise. I just have to get good at looking for the good in the bad and ugly.

Yes Pixie but I think your mum must have spiked your milk.

S I do like that it eventually is sharp, most likely when they stopped moving. The funny thing is if I tried to do that on purpose I bet it would never turn out as well.

JJ, it was all that Vaseline. Once it gets on something, try and get it off.
