Celebrity

I do not need to follow your laws.
I do not need to follow your rules.
If I am caught I will laugh it off.
I am celebrity.

I will not get a ticket if caught.
If I get a ticket my layer will fix it.
I will not play your games.
I am celebrity.
.
I will not be in court but if I do
I will not get convicted of breaking a rule.
If I am convicted I will not serve.
I am celebrity.

If I go to jail I will be treated special.
No processing, no lines just in you go.
I have better things to do so I will not stay.
I am celebrity.

In the end I am a spoiled brat.
I served three days and they called it five.
I will spend my remaining days in comfort in my house.
I am celebrity.

I only learned I was right.
I will be more popular than ever before.
People will worship me as they should.
I am celebrity.
I am Paris Hilton.

I am really getting sick of what we have come to. There is one system for the haves and a totally separate system for the have-nots. Well no more about this as I just am getting more and more mad when I think of it. This started out being a Friday 55 and look what happened. Oh well, everyone have a wonderful weekend.

Yes Bryan, a bit more than 55, but who's counting anyway?
I was always lousy at math!
Great story, very good job at getting the feel of the situation!!!

..But in the future?
Don't give this Bimbo the sweat off your balls!
Have a great week-end brother!!......Galen

Barman, SO SO SO true!! It's totally ridiculous that the rules do not "apply" to them.

There are innocent people rotting in jail right now, and she's more than guilty and out running around in her pink fluffy bedroom...

Thanks for stopping by this morning!

G, I used to be pretty good at math but look what happened. I was up to 87 words before I even broke a sweat. Oh well, I feel better saying it even if it does not make a difference.

Snowelf, glad you stopped by. I did not realize she was released until I came across it in the news. I guess I got a little carried away. Oh well, something more cheery for next week I am sure.

She said it was cold in jail, what the heck did she expect? Enjoyed your post even if you had 237 words (don't count its only a guess).

Bryan, I LOVE my little carrot with a bite out of it! I had to enlarge it to 300% to make sure it wasnt an red eggplant or something!

I feel so honored! Who needs a chili when you can have a carrot of your very own?

;)

Queenie, I copied it into word and looked, only 177 words. Actually I decided not to call it flash 55 because of it but it did start out life as one. When someone at work complains it is cold they don't get to go home. Oh well.

And ya know what, if you started out making a 55 and it turned into a 555....lol...well why the heck not?

Who (am I) is Galen to come around and police the 55's? You can make it as long or short as you want!

barman don't even get me started on that spoiled brat. I can guarentee you we are furious out her in Cali......the judge that sentenced her is pissed also, since it was established she would not get home house arrest. House? That's a friggin' mansion she lives in! Must be rough!
It aint over yet!
She could be sent back!
I can only hope!!!!!!

I think they should have MADE her do ALL of her time, in a REAL prison and not have special privys like your own special cell. I hate celebrities for that reason. They have no idea what it's like to be the average Joe. I would rather be me than her ANY day.

GREAT job on the 55!!! Hope you have a great wknd ;o)

S I will be a little less worried about how many words it is but this one went way beyond. And you know I promised a carrot or tomato. It took a little while but I finally got you special marker up. Glad you like it.

Littlewing, I would love to see more happen but at this point it is all just a circus and I suspect things would just get worse anyway.

Wouldn't that be appropriate. I mean I can see that if you behave the time could have been cut in half as long as your average Joe would get that too. Other than that, she done the crime... she should do the time and not in cushy comfort.

Thanks Top Cat, I am not good at such things. But once I started it just wanted to come out. I am sure someone else would have done much better with it but I tried.

i could rant about this at length because the whole fascination with her just astonishes me....she's famous for what? being rich and pampered? the girl never even finsihed high school. she's just some vapid, spoiled disgusting child. and now she is getting off scott free for utterly inescusable behavior...it infuriates me....ok, i will stop

Lime I so agree but it looks like she is on her way back to jail.

Anyone care to start a pool on when we think she will get out of Jail again? Put me in for 1 in the morning on Sunday.

Yeppers, folks we have a circus now.

Oh, I didn't know they were sending her back. I hope they make her stay extra long for getting out early.

Sign, I was surprised myself. I hope she gets everything your average Joe would get, not more, not less. For now it is back to 45 days.

Brad Paisley has a simular song about celebrities who have a whole set of different rules than us. And I think its true celebs get away with stuff that they would lock us up for and throw away the key! Good one
