Bryan, this is such a heartfelt 55.
And such a great ode to a friend.
I also love Kittie's whiskers.
It makes me want to pet 'im.
OK, I just did a little research. It says Fiction - a literary work based on the imagination and not necessarily on fact.
Well it does say it can be fact if you read it that way. As to the imagination part... Hey, I just wanted to wish Top Cat well and this was perfect.
I will do better next time, promise. Now I have to use my imagination, oh boy this could be good or it could be bad.
Barman, this is really cool of you to do this.
Rick's a great guy. And that's the best photo I've seen of him so far. How did you manage to get that?? I see he shaved his whiskers off for that photo. :)

Thank you snowelf. I do try to be decent to everyone even in real life. I am not always successfull but I try. TC is one of the most super people I have had the fortune to meet. I Am so glad I bumped into him online a little while over 2 years ago. And also happy he lives so close I can actually manage to visit. Now all we need is to get the 4 musketeers together and everything will be mighty fine.
Flash, this fiction is based on fact or something like that. You know, I really have not been taking that into consideration when writing. I shall have to do that from now on.
Strumpet, I am sure he purr if you were to pet him. I must say, however, I have never seen any kittie wiskers in person but come to think of it, I have never seen him wet either. Maybe the top picture is only his discise.
