RETIREMENT PLANNING FOR 2008

If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1000.00. With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left.

If you had purchased $1000 of Delta Air Lines stock you would have $49.00 left.

But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling, you would have had $214.00.

So, based on the above, the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

It's called the 401-Keg Plan.

That sounds like a pretty good idea. But I am pretty sure we will need to make improvements to the plan as we go. Around these parts we have bottle deposits on wine coolers too so I am sure we could easily substitute that.

barman, aluminum (recycled)
goes for over two dollars a pound in Southern Cali.
so you would have made a lot of money here!

I will help Lime with the bottle recycling while you all drink the beer! I have beer on my HNT this week, but I was just doing it to keep Gary company. I prefer whiskey.

Great idea! I wonder if this plan will work with gin & tonic bottles?

Nick, how about we do pony kegs. It will add up faster and stay colder. I am tapping it now as I type...

S I think we can dig up some whiskey especially if we can make whiskey sours out of them. Yummy.

Tony, I do not know about the gin but I am sure the tonic works. You will just have to drink twice as much. It is a dirty job but someone has to do it.

Jillie you got it all wrong. If Lime returns the empties we can drink more. I am sure she will share. Sure, what the heck. Go Packers.

Woo!

I think I've finally found the key to the security of my future.

Thank you, Bryan.

Now, imagine how much we'll accrue if we have a kegger and post the directions online!

We can all retire in two years.

Who's with me?
