Black Friday

I am afraid I have been busy but I wanted to post something so how about a light subject. I do not have a signifcant other at the moment but in some ways it still applies to me. OK, well let me make it a little more generic to include more.

Do you tell family and/or friends about you blog? How about let them read your blog? Origionally I was just going yo ask about your significant other which I am actually very curious about. I have seen several that know it exists but they do not read them. Some that they read but most likely do not comment on and finally I see a few that I do not think they even know. I know several people have said that if anyone found their blog, especially if it were the kids, they would dump the blog right away.

Anyway, I was kind of curions and thought I would toss it out to see if there was any interesing comments.

I will probably post Saturday and Sunday but they will probably be just as shallow as this post is until I am back in town again. Everyone have a nice weekend.

Don't be so hard on yourself, Bud. I bet there are plenty of cool guys who sit home on Friday night watching 'Star Trek' reruns hoping to catch a glimpse of Klingon cleavage. --Married... With Children

My Mom & R know about my blog, and they will read it over my shoulder if I tell them to, but they do not subscribe to it. Hell my mom doesn't even email--let alone read blogs. LOL

My friends know that I blog, but do not know the address. I keep it that way as to not incriminate myself in the future. Plus several of my friends work in my hospital & it's just too hard to keep shit away from administration if EVERYONE knows about it.

Make sense?

Hey Bryan,

This is my belief…If you don’t want people viewing your blog, then keep it private. If you’re blogging for the world to see, then in most cases, you can google it, and BAM---you’re found out. Just one ‘keyword’ and you’re outed just like a closet gay boy.

My whole family knows about my blog. A few of my family members read it here and there, but rarely tap in. My girlfriend reads my posts every single day. She also gets a kick out of the comment section—although she rarely comments. I even write stuff about my ex’s and other risk factors that some people would think is too dangerous for a significant other to read. I say be who you are—say what you want—and make sure everyone knows about ‘you’---if you’re going to blog it. Being bluntly honest on a blog is a wonderful thing---when you have nothing to hide. There are certain things that should be ‘hush hush’ of course- but if you have kids or worried about other people in your life reading your material—then don’t post it. I’ve seen people cancel their blogs because of this.

Then you have the bi-polar bloggers. (No not me) hehe…You have those people who say, “That’s it! I’m leaving blogworld forever!” And then two days later, they reopen their blog up. A week later---back off…gone for good…Two days later, back up again! That drives me nuts. My blogroll was going bonkers.

Anyway, just wanted to post a comment and say hello! And thank you for the kind words that you posted in my comment section—that means a lot. I appreciate it.

Okay, now back to my bubble. I’ll be back!

{{hugs}}

The only person who I know that has read any of my blog is my sister. She read some a while ago. As far as I know, she hasn't read it since.

Not that I post anything incriminating, but I like to keep it from my husband. I think it's something to hold over his head, lol. Someday I'm sure I will let him read it.

As I have stated before, I am very active in several area schools. I try to be tasteful with the HNT's I post so as not to cross the line. I'm not sure how the parents and staff at the schools would take it. I mean it's a little hard to explain to people who don't blog about Half Nekkid Thursday.

Wow, thank you everyone. It is kind of interesting to see the differences. I know myself I have not shared my blog address with others that I know but at the same time, other then them thinking I was stranger than they already thought, I am fairly comfy where I am. In saying that, however, there are a few things I have written that, if the person it was about saw it, I might a little embarrased but that is it.

I can see where the blogs might be a little concerning as far as the comments go. I see a lot of flirting or people just having a fun time. Even I try to do that from time to time but I am not a very good flirt. Some people who are the jealous type would probably have a hard time with that.

Anyway thank you everyone for your comments.

My wife knows about my blog and I will share some of my posts with her and I talk about many of my friends here but I want this to be my own little haven, a private little place where I can be TOPCAT for a day..not someones husband, father or employee.
So I try to keep the URL hidden from her.
