Shots Anyone?

Yesterday I did shots with a Nurse Ratched. Well, not really...

By the way, the above picture is from a catalog of costumes available here. Just in case someone *cough* Tony *cough* was wondering...

I did shots with an MSU Nurse in training. Well one shot. I got my flu shot yesterday. Boy was she cute ... I mean she was so professional and did a great job (and yes she was cute). Not buying it are you?

All and all uneventful. To make sure my partner in crime at work (counterpart) and I could both get our shots in I snuck over a little early and they were already doing the shots. I was a bit of a problem as I could not get my shirt up high enough up my arm since I had a dress short on. Luckily an observer/adviser was right there and told her that as log as she can get a hold of the muscle (or something t0 that affect) that it would be OK. She proceeded and boy I hardly felt it. The shot area hurts more than the actual shot which is normal for me for a day or two. So as I was headed back to the building I work at I could be heard to proclaim “NEXT” as I let my partner in crime know that there was no line.

And there you have it, the highlight of my day.

OK, TYPO!!! It should read dress shirt not a short dress. Gee, I debated changing and reposting the post but, what the heck... LET IT RIDE so others can have fun at my expense.

Now I have had on some form or nylons or something when I was in a few plays in grade school but never a dress. I would make such a terrible little lady, trust me on this one.

shucks, there were times when my kids were small that laying down, getting stuck by a large bore needle and having a pint of blood drained off by brunhilde herself was the highlight of my day becasue no one demanded anything of me,they chekced om me to make sure i was ok, and then they gave me a donut.

Lime I so understand that. I always thought it was strange how much people loved their bathroom time too until I noticed it was one of the few times a person can get a moment to themselves. Of course that does not always work out that way.

So if you want we can set you up out of sight somewhere... no needles or anything, just some alone or fun time. In fact I think I see a nice Japaneese screen in the corner over there...

You remind me, Bryan, that I need a flu shot and probably a pneumonia update, too. I’ve been so involved with the health needs of both Alex and me that I keep forgetting the shots. Good excuse, ain’t it?

I like to play dress up. *wink*

I don't like shot's. Needles. Blood. The smell of rubbing alcohol. Or styrofoam cups since my hospital stay.

But I love Jillie. xo

Nick most convenient indeed. Of course the flu shot has not been bad for me. But the one time I got the pneumonia shot I do not think it was pretty. I best check with my Doctor if I need to do a booster. I think it has been a while.

Manny I am sure Nurse Jillie could find a way to distract you while you get the shot. That or you could just do shots in drinks. Why I might even go get a coffee with hazelnut shots tomorrow. Yum.

Shoot Bryan, I thought the only shots you liked were the tequila ones at the Pink Palace - the Irish/Arabian place.

I recognise the nurse's outfit too.

I was in the shot line the other day at my doctors. The nurse took one look at my arm and said, "what are those bumps?"..."erm allergy shots", I mumbled through my hand....

She waggled one pointy finger and ordered me out of the line. Now look what happened!

You will be glad you got the shot the flu is a doosy. Little Rita was sick for a week.

You guys crack me up!
As a diabetic, I give myself a shot at least 3 times a day...
The needle is so thin that you can't feel a thing...Hardly!
Cowboy-Up people!

Now Gogo, I may like Ohmars but I know I can count the number of times I have done a shot of tequila on one hand. Now Jim O, that be a different story.

Susie I am so sorry. If that is the case hopefully you feel better by this weekend.

Mona, we can replace the needle with a feather or something for you. Or better yet, what ever happened to those Star Trek shots. I thought I remembered them giving people shots with air guns and no needles. By the way, those air guns hurt more than any needle from what I remember.

See now G, that is because you keep doing it in the same spot. :) Actually needles only bothered me a bit when I was young. Latter I discovered there are things that can be much worse like the Dentist!

Manny I can't come out and play. I am earning the milk bone money.

Gab, if I ever switch which team I bat for I will let you know. At this point all I can say is the ladies would not want me.

Oh man TC, I so blew it. I wonder if I have time to make a batch or three?

I'd like to wear that costume, although, the boots might be a little much for me.

I have never had a flu shot. I'm not sure if I've ever had the flu. I've had some doozys of colds.
