I just notices that I was the one that brought on the unwanted emails from FanBox on myself. I signed up to get something from someone I knew and really did not remember it or even realize it. I have just tried to do a few things to try and kill it. We will see if it worked.
In the mean time I wanted to first warn every.
If you see a request from me in your email to join FanBox... I DID NOT KNOWINGLY SEND IT TO YOU. JUST DELETE IT, PLEASE.
This stuff seems to act like a virus. I regret signing up for it and hope I have neutered it and not bothered you.

Nick, I tend to trust things but I must admit I was suspicious of this thing from the beginning. It kind of makes me thankful I do not have most peoples email address in my address book. Luckily all it might have done, that I know of, is send annoying junk mail. It could have been worse and sending viruses or other fun things.
Strumpet, glad to see you. I don't think I have your email address so you would be safe at least from me. I just did a little catching up on you and am happy you are still kicking.
You know, Bryan, these folks have so many ways of spamming and otherwise trying to get our money and our mailing lists that one has to trust that someone, somewhere is honest or we’d become so paranoid that we couldn’t function!

Awwww....I can almost see the tears falling. What an adorable picture. Yeah, they always have ways to "scam" people. That's why I NEVER EVER forward those emails that if you send this to so many people, you'll get this much money or these free gift certificates. They are SPAMMERS!

Gab, no one knows what these things are all about. All is forgiven. Besides, it looked all innocent. I just did not like people wanting to be my fan so I was suspicous of this site to begin with. That and a bunch of very cute 20 somethings wanting to my fan, I don't think so.
Jillie, wasn't it just the perfect picture? Having worked with company email systems for ages I know how bad these send this message to everyone you know can be to email servers. They can really clog things up. That is why I do not forward things, that and I do not want to be part of the problem. Besides, the things the email promise just are not possible. Email does not work that way. The bad thing is this thing used you email phonebook to send messages out itself without you even knowing it. Not good.
I noticed you have not posted for a while. Glad you are back Little Wing. That is such a classic puppy dog look. Gotta love it.
I didn't get the email unless it went into my spam folder. I hate that kind of stuff.
Sign, I am not even sure I sent out any email. I just know that is how the thing works as I watched me get invites from people that certainly never sent it to me on their own. So I went and changed what information they had about me and then I deleted the account. Hopefully I never sent out anything but I probably will never know. But I felt I owed it to everyone to warn you about FanBox just in case. Glad you did not get that.
