Sorry this is so late. I do not have a pet unless dust bunnies count. So I thought I would borrow my brothers pet.

Meet Dragon. Dragon is a wonderful pet except for one thing. I think my brother and his wife are insane because of this. They have a small house and a very small yard. A dog like this needs his space. I think if I were to get a dog it would be one like this, a Weimaraner. I love that they do not have a lot of fur that sheds all over the place. If you feed them right I think they are a very beautiful dog. Their disposition seems to be great. You have to be careful around kids, not because they would bite or anything but because they may tip someone over by accident. By the way, his favorite time of the year ... Christmas. He loves to open the presents. I do not know how they can put up a Christmas tree with Dragon around.

The only things that worries me a little is this last one. Could Dragon be possed? Oh no.

Dragon looks like a sweetie and he was definitely posing for you.

I have a big yard and when Ladd goes out (when he feels good) he jumps off the deck and walks the entire fence line.

Good pics babe.

Thanks Manny. Ladd is just a little guy. That is a long walk for him. I know Dragon would love a large yard. They are planning on moving. There is hope for him yet.

I hope they at least walk him.

Was that you on the couch?

We need to see more of you!

Sorry, the pictures are all ones I took so I am not in any of them. I have very few of me. The people in the pciture that you can see are my brother and his wife. My brother is 18 years younger than me.

They do not walk him to much but they do go up north a bit and he can run as much as he wants to. He loves it up there.

I would say we are close but not as close as I am with my sister. You try to hang them once (my sister) and somehow it makes you closer. Opps, maybe that is not why! LOL

I do not even remember this but somehow my sister had the cord for the drape around her neck. Then she tried to crawl away in affect hanging here. I got the blame. Was it my fault. Well I doubt if I did do this, that I ment anything by it but hey, I was under 3 years old. What did I know.

So that is how I almost hung her.

Marti you are so right. I have been around three Weimaraners and only one was a little wound up. But I can not blame him as there were kids running all over the place all labor day weekend and it just got him real excited. The other two, Dragon included, are awesome.

Thank you for stopping by.

Loni I just saw you chocolate lab, what a great picture. And what a great dog as a family pet. Thanks for stopping bye.

BbsGirl, I posted real late so I think that still make you ... early. He is happy and a great dog. Just be careful when you get near the fridge. He loves his ice cubes.

Gab we can make another attempt at the links. I can make it easier. I will send an email. Another dog would be nice, wouldn't it. Good luck and how are you surviving without air?

Weimeraners are such beautiful dogs.
I did soem petsitting once for a lady who had one (and 9 cats) the dog was gorgeous but she was 1 year old and had NO training. This was in a fairly small house here in the Netherlands with quite a small garden with a pond in it, so it wasn't like there was lots of room for her to run around.

She was SO hyper, I was covered in bruises when I got home. I also had to get my husband to come stay with me after a few days because my shoulders were in so much pain from her pulling on her lead when I walked her.

These dogs DEFINATELY need space and serious training.

Here's a photo of the weimeraner that I looked after:

You know I forgot about that aspect of the breed. I think they say it takes them like 3 years to settle down a bit and yes they need to be trained. Sorry you did so bad on the dog sitting.

I love that picture of the dog and the cat. We had a cat when I was growing up. It came up against a golden lab. This dog was a lover. The cat was afraid of the dog but after slinking around for months she took a swing at the dog and left a claw in his nose. He never messed with her again and was even afraid of her.

Thanks for stopping by and for the picture.

Good news Gab, if the weather holds out Wednesday is suppose to be 74 in your neck of the woods. I would be dying. I like it to get down to 70, if possible, in the house at night. I just checked and it is 84 outside near you. And no air and it is past midnight. You poor thing.

Dragon looks great! I love big dogs. My sister used to have one of this breed but as you so rightly say.. the dog was so big and used to knock the children over. Needless to say they had to let it go.

Oh and the things that my cat Sandy does.. I'm going to video it for all to see. It's just catching the right moment. But hey, watch this space lol :=)

LMAO

Crab and Squirrel got blamed for things I did too.

I ate my mom's lipstick- Crab was blamed

I ate green apples and got the rhea- Squirrel got blamed.

I hid in the dog house and couldn't be found for over 3
hours (they were all frantically searching the ravine)- they both got blamed

Maybe they should have watched me better. They hated me because I wasn't a boy.

Oh my goodness, Mandy and Manny. At first I did not notice you were not the same person. I better get my eyes checked.

Mandy, I love Sandy. What a great picture and that would so be fun to see a film of what Sandy does. Thanks for stopping by.

Manny, dear Manny. I am not sure if I did that or not. I tend to think not but it could be I am just following you your Sisters footsteps with the blame things and all. Let me say right now I am glad you are not a boy. He would have been picked on so bad with Squirrel and Crabby around and trying to share a bathroom, oy! OK, there might be other reasons also...

Dragon is beautiful, I bet he feels just like petting velvet. I have a 5 lb yorki-poo and he is a no-shed dog which I love! ( and not a yapper or a biter which I also love).
