Uncle

(NOTE: Title added once Lara mentioned it was missing)

No my brother or sister did not just have a baby. I could say uncle for many reasons but how about I list three of them.

First my Internet connection of late has been terrible. Just when I go to settle down to use the always-on internet connection that I pay dearly for I find out that it is not on. Is it my new cable modem dying or my ISP. I am beginning to think it is the ISP. Grrr.

The second thing I am ready to say UNCLE about is blogger. It has been insane for me lately. I have to try many times to get to see a page. I leave a comment and it disappears. I do not get notified that someone has changed their blog and I miss out on what is going on. Of course also part of it is people I would love to know what is going on with them are just silent a lot lately. Since when did they get a life? It was bound to happen some time. LOL

The final thing and I saved the best for last is the stupid political ads. We have a primary coming up im Michigan in under 2 weeks. I could just shoot the people producing these ads. They are all so misleading. They are down right mudslinging half the time and I hate that type of ad. They may not be lying but they are distorting the truth something awful. And I hear the ad and in the same commercial break I hear it again, and again at the next break. STOP THE STUPID ADS. You can not learn anything from them. You can not trust them. If you care you need to find out your information yourself and not trust someone else to do your thinking for you. I think I am going to watch the Disney Channel for the next two weeks. I doubt they will have any political adds over there. I need my safe house. Of course I suppose I could just turn the boob tube off. Ahh, I feel better already.

lol @ Denny... I'm not sure I believe that a breakdown-plagued system can be made breakdown-free by paying for it. I wouldn't be paying for it until they can PROVE it's better.

As for Uncle... man you lost me at first since your post had no title, Barman! I hope you don't say uncle... just write a bit less if you need to. I've taken to really writing when I have something to say. A couple times a month is about all lately. I didn't like my blog feeling like a stress instead of an outlet. People are realizing I'm still going to post so they do check it occasionally... it just takes them longer, which works out well since I don't post until longer anyway. hehe

Have a great weekend! :)

Denny I am not sure if I agree or not but it has to be just a matter of time before they start changing. I have seen that happen on several other "free" things in the past.

Lara, might I say I really love your Avitar. I enjoy seeing it on peoples comments. Very nice picture. I fixed the title. At one point it had one but I had to try and post about 5 times before it posted and I lost the title somewhere. I may slow down as I really have little to write about. Most of what I do is of little interest to anyone, including me some times. I would hate to go away all together however as I have meet some really nice people out there that I enjoy keeping in touch with evern if it is just an occasional comment. Good advice, I will probably take you up on it. Thank you and I hope you have a nice weekend too sexy ... I mean Lara.

I feel for your puter problems. I am sure you remember mine!

They shouldn't offer a 'free service' if they don't want to deliver. I have been thinking about leaving bloggin altogether.

Oh so you want to debate politics? LOL I would win. Here in Ohio my mind is already made up.

I hope you don't leave. It gets better and it gets worse. For the most part it is not real bad.

Now see we would have problems there on the politics. I know a little bit about the Michigan people and nothing about Ohio. Well other than knowing a former Ohio Speaker of the House of Reps but that does not get me much.

Roxi, missed you there. Yes they are anoying. I wonder if they could be turned into a drinking game. At least that way I might enjoy them.

Manny, no I am not withdrawing. I figure at least I can provide you some entertainment.

Sign, I know. It has been crazy trying to leave comments. I have had them dissapear before to. I was all set to stop posting on that persons blog before I decided it was just blogger.

Hi Goddess. For the most part I know what I am going to do except for things like school board which I have some research to do. So enough already. Find someone that wants to hear your half truths I say to the commercials.

To bad Manny, you are away now. I poked my head out a couple of times at work but for the most part I was busy and actually made some progress. Yea. Writing computer programs can be such pain some times.

Trish, blogger is great when it works but when it does not, what a pain. And now I really miss it because I can not check up on everyone.

Barman, I haven't had much trouble with my blogger but I get what you mean about the political commercials. There is so much crap on TV in Ohio with the governor's race coming up in November that it makes you want to scream!! It's a good thing some of the "real stuff" came out before the mud started flying! Plus I've been around long enough to remember that one of them is a total jerk! LOL

sorry barman, I meant to tell you to have a nice weekend and just let your computer sleep for 8 hours. It should feel 100% better!!

We have everyone up this year. Gov, House of Reps, Senate and federal. It's insane. Plus I have been around long enough to know you can not believe much that they say anyway. They are so good at half truths, never a full lie.

I might need to sleep for a while. Tonight I am drinking frozen strawberry daiquiris. Tomorrow might be interesting.

they just bother your head because they are so cold they give you "brain feeze". LOL When you get my age you already have that so they don't affect you that bad but then they hurt your teeth! Have a great one!! Oh, drink a slammer for me! Wink Wink

IndiansFan, I have no brains so I should not get a brain freeze ... but I still do. Maybe there are still a few brain cells left in there somewhere.

Chrissie, I know but sometimes I forget to come back. Of course it is not like anyone would really miss one of my comments. They are just OK. Oh and blogger is odd. It could have been working OK for Dzer and not you. It messed up a post of mine once and my entire template. I ended up having to republish and everything was OK. I guess for free we have a bargin but...
