RIP Bo Schembechler

Hard to believe that Bo died on the eve of the big Michigan / Ohio game. Bo was the coach when I became a Michigan fan. I always think him when I think University of Michigan football.

RIP Mr Schembechler.

I'm sure he'll be remembered by those who knew him. I never heard of him. It is a shame he won't be around to see OSU beat Michigan tomorrow!!

Yanno, I posted this at Manny's to you but I wanted to be sure and come here too because this man was special.

Truly anyone who wasn't around early enough to see Bo and Woody out on that field missed something amazingly special.

And did ya know off the field they were the best of friends who shared this great love of football. Guess they'll be watchin the game together tomorrow. Man, I'd like to hear that dialog.

If I had access to a Bo Bobble head, I would add him to my precious OSU bobble collection. I hold him in the highest esteem. Right up there with "My Woody" and that's saying something.

Good luck tomorrow Wolverines. I think we're gonna kick your butts but good luck anyhow.

This news made me sad today. Of all day's for this to happen.

They need to put his head up there with Woddy's. After all, he use to be a Buckeye.

Have fun tomorrow, enjoy a great game, eat some good food, think about Crab and I, and love us, even after we win!

I just love this crap!

GO BUCKS !!!

Yes Gab it is sad. I heard it probably awith 15 minutes or so of him passing on so I went home (since it was lunch time) and flipped on the TV to see what was being said then I put this up. I am sad but not devistated.

BBSGirl, you know I want Michigan to kick your tails but either way as long as it is a fair game that is what I live for. I so love the rivalry between the two teams. This game has been special to me since the 70s.

Crabs I know what you mean. I could see myself with a Woody and a Bo bobble head doll. Both men were equally impressive and they both did so much for each others schools and football teams. The rivaly was famous and I still live for it. Tomorrow will be, and always will be special. It is funny that they were such good friends and where Bo came from in the first place. You know he has to owe a lot to Woody for what he became. I hold a special place for both extrodinary men. Let me do come checking. If I can get a Bo bobble, maybe you can get me a Woody bobble. I will let you know.

Actually did you hear Ohio's coach today day that Bo was and always will be a Buckeye. You know that is true. I mean did he not play football under Woody also he took home a masters from Ohio State. He was assistant coach under Woody too. Yep, I know about Bo's past. He was a wonderful person just like Woody. Go Blue! Let's have some football.
