Is it Possible to Drown?

Is it bad to drink to much water?

I checked a few resources and they seem to say that if you were to drink 15 liters of water a day that would probably be a bad thing. Also if you drink to much to fast it is not so good either but they did not say what that might be. So my 4.5 liters (or so-just about 12, 12 ounce cups) of water is safe. Boy my body is having fun adjusting. If that does not settle down over the week I think I may need to reduce the intake. Of course I have not started exercising. If I was doing that it would be different too. For now, however, should you see me scooting toward the bathroom, for heaven sakes, GET OUT OF THE WAY!

I am not ready for this cold. Anybody have a nice warm place to go? It does not have to be real warm. I would settle for the 60s or 50s in a pinch. This bellow freezing just has not settled in for me yet.

Why can't I think of anything to write? Anything, anything? I got nothing...

Yushio, I am feeling all warm and toastie already just thinking about it.

Tony, I know I think I am a fountain now. Actually they call for 80 onces. I started a little while ago drinking 50 ounces or so first thing in the morning. That is where all of it is from. I think I need to cut back a little.

Yes Dan I do have a warm place to go...in a week I will be in India where the avg temp in December is 80. Wanna come too?

You could always heat that garage! LOL

Now, when I was pregnant, I actually got dehydrated from drinking too much water because all I did was pee pee pee!
So yeah, you can actually drink too much water!
Take care, and Im thinking about you alot cuz I know you are gonna do swell!

I do not know much about India but that would be super mistress. I know water can be a tricky thing. When you are taking in a lot the body starts to get rid of it as fast as it can. If you stop drinking after that it can be bad. I know, I cheated the Weight Watchers diet a few times by doing that just before the weigh in. Bad Bryan, bad!

I'm laughing with you, not at you...."fountain in your mouth".

You are drinking too much! 8, 8oz. glasses a day should be plenty (64 oz.). You can wash away the food you are eating too quickly and then will feel hungry faster. Also, you may not absorb some vital nutrients in your intestines if you wash it out.

Just my two cents.

Sign that is better then throwing up a little in your mouth. I am making adjustments a little as I go. I have cut back on the water a little. I must say, for ony following the new eating style for a little over 2 days, I am really seeing a difference so far. I have lost some weight but at this point I do not believe it to much as how much water you have in the system really effects that big time. Thanks for the advice Sign.

my advice..switch to Michelob Ultra...one sip of water..one sip of Ultra.
Two friends at my former work place lost about 20lbs on the stuff.
Twice the fun!:)

If you don't already have one Bryan get a treadmill.
We have the Proform, it even has a motorized incline adjustment on it.
Great workout especially when it's cold out.
I really like this new template.

Bryan, I bet you can hear the ocean when you lay down at night. Lol.

Listen to Jenn, she knows about these things. :)

Top cat, I really like Michelob Ultra. I think I am going to skip it but I like the idea. Twice the fun, I love it.

I am going to get a Eliptical Trainer. I like it more than the treadmill. Some people find them hard to use and a lot of work but I think they are easier and I get more of a workout with what seems like less effort.
