Saturday's Photo Scavengar Hunt - RED

This weeks theme is RED.

I thought I would just go simple this week. This picture was taken at a wedding I attended this year. The bridesmaid's wore red. This is the second wedding in a year that Red is one of the main colors. I love it since RED is my favorite color.

For some reason when I see this picture it says "Lady in Red" to me. Kind of appropriate when you think of it since I hear the song "Lady in Red" at a lot of weddings.

To answer a few comments I thought I would add a few pictures to this post that are really not related to the hunt. These are of the bride, groom, and wedding party at that wedding. These pictures a way to dark despite my having lightened them. The onboard flash just could not handle the darkness and the distance, something I have since taken care of with a nice new flash.

Thank you for visiting and have a great weekend.

Hi Bryan! And I love that song..."Lady in Red"!!! I say: "Why not have red in weddings? Red is passionate and loving.
Wonderful choice as always.

Come see if you can guess what my red is this week, before clicking on the full view pic.

Happy Weekend.

Red is my favorite color too. Love red. And that is a beautiful dress.

So ..... how's that garage coming along? If it's as cold there as it is here, there's NO way you're going out there. LOL!

Thank you all but let me clear something up. The bride still wore white. It was the bridesmaid's that wore red. Personally I think red looks real nice in a wedding but then I am bias.

Crabs, begining of the week I had a little progress but none for the last couple of days. It's cold out there. This weekend however should see some more progress.

Yeah, red looks really nice in weddings. I agree. Very flattering for many people.

Lovely! Great picture for the hunt this week. I think red as a bridesmaid color is a great choice. It was my SIL's choice.

Beautiful. Thanks for including the other wedding photos too.

This post just made me feel all warm and mushy.

When I get married I want to wear red too. I somehow don't think white would be appropriate. Lol
